Summary:

A Dutch government commission is currently drawing up sustainability criteria for the production of electricity, heat and transport fuels from biomass. At their request, CE Delft has elaborated a methodology for calculating the species and quantities of greenhouse gases emitted in the respective processes. The study was carried out in partnership with Utrecht University and in consultation with other, international experts.
