CE Delft was asked by Nyrstar Belgium NV to establish shadow prices for a number of chlorine and bromine compounds, in particular for the NaCl, KCl and NaBr present in the company’s freshwater discharges. These compounds were not included in the Shadow Price Manual published by CE Delft in 2010, but the same methodology can be used to calculate similar shadow prices for the compounds concerned. This short report discusses and presents the shadow prices developed.
